Mission Statement

The McGill Sport Psychology Laboratory is focused on theoretical and applied research within sport. Our primary goal is to help athletes and coaches achieve personal development and performance success.

Current theory-based research includes coaching, team building, leadership, and the effects of concussions on athlete rehabilitation and performance. From an applied perspective, we are providing mental skills training (e.g., anxiety, concentration, confidence, focus skills) for high performance athletes in their pursuit of podium performances at the Olympic Games and other international competitions.
